The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority has confirmed that 128 wild animals, including a large number of buffaloes, have died from anthrax.
Zimparks spokesperson Tinashe Farawo expressed serious concern about the outbreak, highlighting its impact on conservation efforts within the park.
Farawo also reassured the public that there have been no reports of anthrax affecting domestic animals, and authorities are actively working to prevent any potential spread to livestock.
