The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a case of unlawful entry and theft that occurred on the night of January 6, 2025, at a company in Kelvin West , Bulawayo.
According to police reports, two or three unidentified suspects broke a window pane to gain access to the company’s cash office. The suspects stole US$10,569 in cash, which was stored in a Chubb safe. They used a Jack trolley to transport the safe and fled the scene.
Police in Bulawayo tracked trolley marks, leading to the recovery of the safe and the stolen cash along a stream bank near a beer outlet in Tshabalala. The suspects remain at large, and investigations are ongoing.
