YAFM, the Pulse of the Great Dyke, in association with online television portal Great Dyke TV, will today host the inaugural Great Dyke Mining and Agriculture Awards.
The virtual awards will be broadcast on YAFM radio station, YAFM 91.8, Sly media and 263 chat Facebook pages at 12 noon today.
The inaugural awards promote excellence and aim to unlock the growth potential in mining and agricultural companies operating in the mineral rich Great Dyke, which trends from north to south for over 550 kilometres.
Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Honourable July Moyo is the guest of honour.
Awards are up for grabs in ten categories namely: Gold Buyer of the Year, Small Scale Miner of the Year, Mining Equipment and Consumables Supplier of the Year, CSR Award of the Year, Health and Safety Award of the Year, Financial Service Provider of the Year, Small Scale Agro Producer of the Year, Large Scale Agro Producer of the Year, Business Manager of the Year and Business Person of the Year.
There is also a special Business Achievement Award for impactful contribution to society over a sustained period of time.
