Zimbabwe’s largest platinum group metal (PGM) producer, Zimplats, has officially announced the resignation of Mrs. Chipo Mtasa from her position as a non-executive director, effective January 8, 2024.
Mrs. Mtasa, who also served as the chairperson of the board’s audit and risk committee and was a member of the remuneration committee, played a significant role during her tenure. Her resignation comes after being elected as an independent non-executive director at the annual general meeting held on October 28, 2019.
The board of directors expressed its gratitude to Mrs. Mtasa for her valuable contributions to the company and acknowledged her service on key committees. Despite her departure, the board wishes her every success in her future endeavors.
