A 38 year-old man from Bulawayo has been sentenced to 5 months behind bars by Zvishavane Magistrate for stealing USD$500-00 in a parked car.
Rueben Zulu pleaded guilty when he appeared before Magistrate Archie Wochiunga facing theft charges.
The state alleged that on 13 January 2022 around 2100 hours the complainant parked his motor vehicle at Muzvondiwa business centre in Zvishavane before entering into a bar.
The court heard that the accused person took advantage of the absence of the complainant and forced the driver’s door open.
It is alleged that Zulu took the said amount and went away.
