CCC Legislator Dr. Thokozani Khupe Commends Government on Cancer Funding.

Opposition CCC Legislator and Former Deputy Prime Minister ,Dr. Thokozani Khupe, has applauded the government for ensuring that special tax revenues are directed towards funding cancer treatment equipment in the country.

Speaking during a debate in the National Assembly, Dr. Khupe, a cancer survivor herself, highlighted the importance of sustained investment in healthcare to improve cancer treatment and accessibility.

Meanwhile, Speaker of Parliament Advocate Jacob Francis Mudenda has underscored the importance of the Parliamentary Caucus on Cancer, which is set to be launched this afternoon.

He emphasized that the initiative will strengthen efforts in tackling cancer through policy interventions and resource mobilization.
