Economists have raised concern over government departments and line ministries’ failure to use the funds and resources allocated to them in the National budget. They have called on the government to pay attention to the failure to spend.
Speaking to Great Dyke News’ Economist Professor Gift Mugano said by this time ministries should have spent close to 50% of allocation.
He said the finance ministry should be worried about how the money is being spent because the reported surplus is seemingly a result of ministries not spending.
