EMA Trains 26 Municipal Officers To Enforce Environmental Legislation

The Environmental Management Agency says it has trained 26 municipal officers to ensure that they are capacitated to enforce environmental legislation and in the process promote sustainable management of natural resources.

Speaking to Great Dyke news, EMA Midlands spokesperson Oswald Ndlovu said the agency is working closely with various stakeholders to protect the environment.

He also encouraged local authorities to formulate laws that protect the environment
