Environmental Management Agency Speaks On Regulation Of Gold Detectors

The Environmental Management Agency says there is a need to expedite legislation to regulate the use of gold detectors by artisanal miners in the Great Dyke to curb wanton environmental degradation.

EMA Matabeleland South Provincial Manager Decent Ndlovu said detectors are known to be a major cause of degradation and their use has to be regulated.
