Expecting Mothers, Senior Citizens Urged To Volunteer For Vaccination

Expecting mothers, Breast feeding mothers, and Senior citizens in the Great Dyke have been urged to volunteer for vaccination.

Chief coordinator to the national Covid-19 response Dr. Agnes Mahomva said all eligible adults are urged to get vaccinated and indicated that global data is showing that the majority of severely ill patients are those that have not been vaccinated.

Turning to the senior citizens, Dr. Mahomva said they are part of the high risk groups and should consider getting inoculated.

To date, a total of 1 593 656 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
