Five Nabbed For Kwekwe Cable Theft, 500KG Of Cables Recovered

Police in the Midlands Province have apprehended four men for power cable theft.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Republic Police said the quartet was arrested on the 15th and 16th of October after Detectives in Kwekwe responded to a tip-off.

It identified the arrested as  Winshed Mututwa (39), Kudzanai Witness Lufayi (27), Vhusile Mangoye (22) and Amos Moyo (23) for theft of ZETDC cables in and around Kwekwe.

It highlighted that the arrest led to the recovery of 500kg of ZETDC cables valued at ZWL$907 800.
