In a statement, Local Government Minister Daniel Garwe urged the public to exercise caution, particularly around water bodies, and to refrain from attempting to cross flooded rivers.
The authorities are closely monitoring the situation and have advised citizens in low-lying areas to stay alert for updates from meteorological and disaster management officials.
