The construction of the new Grain Marketing Board silos in Kwekwe is nearing completion with the project currently at around 80-85% completion.
Engineer ANDREW MUPARIWA, the Midlands Provincial Mechanization Engineer, speaking during a Provincial Media Tour of the facility in Kwekwe, said the current challenges of bulk storage in Midlands Province saw farmers transporting their grain to as far as Chegutu at a significant cost.
