Hurungwe Murder Suspect Stabs Himself During Arrest.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of Trymore Tore (37) in connection with three murder cases that occurred at Mubairacheni Village, Hurungwe, on February 16, 2025.

Tore was apprehended on February 23, 2025, while hiding in a bush near his homestead. However, in a dramatic turn of events, the suspect attempted to take his own life upon arrest. Police reports indicate that Tore withdrew an okapi knife from his pocket and stabbed himself multiple times on the chest and neck. The weapon was recovered, and he is currently receiving treatment at Karoi District Hospital under police guard.
