Alleged gold smuggler, Tashinga Nyasha Masimire, has been granted bail of R100,000 at the Kempton Park Regional Court.
Part of his bail conditions require him not to leave South Africa and he was asked to report at the nearest police station three times a week.
Masinire who was travelling from Harare, was arrested by the Hawks’ serious crime unit on arrival at OR Tambo international airport on Saturday afternoon.
He is set to return to court on the 1st of July.
