Kuvimba Mining House (KMH), Zimbabwe’s largest holder of mining assets, has appointed Mr. Trevor Barnard as its substantive Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2024. Barnard had been serving as Acting CEO since May 2024.


The promotion marks a significant step for KMH as it seeks to consolidate its position as a leading force in the country’s mining sector. With a wealth of experience in strategic leadership and management, Barnard is expected to drive the company’s growth trajectory and bolster its operational excellence.


Announcing the appointment, KMH Board Chairman J.H. Mupamhanga expressed confidence in Barnard’s leadership.

KMH is a diversified mining conglomerate with operations spanning gold, platinum, nickel, and chrome.
