Kwekwe Acting Town Clerk, Engineer John Mhike, has highlighted the urgent need for at least five motorized graders to effectively maintain and rehabilitate the town’s roads.
Addressing councillors during a full council meeting, Engineer Mhike revealed that the council is currently operating with just one grader, significantly hindering their ability to provide adequate service delivery.
Mhike attributed the challenges to inadequate resources and logistics, which have severely impacted the council’s road maintenance efforts.
