Level Two Lockdown Extended By A Further Two Weeks

The government has extended the level two lockdown by two more weeks with no further relaxations.

Speaking after the cabinet meeting yesterday Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa said in spite of the declining cases of covid-19 cases government would maintain the level two lockdown and citizens are expected to adhere to the stipulated measures.

As at 19 October 2021, Zimbabwe had 132 437 confirmed cases, including 126 621 recoveries and 4 659 deaths.
