Local cement manufacturers are urging the public to support homegrown products, emphasizing the advantages of local technical assistance.
In an interview with Great Dyke News, PPC’s Head of Marketing and Sales, Nkosana Mapuma, highlighted the importance of trusting and supporting local cement suppliers to ensure timely help when facing challenges.
Mapuma confirmed that PPC has ample supply to meet Zimbabwe’s current cement needs and possesses the capacity to produce even more.
“We now have the capacity to produce 1.4 million tonnes per annum at our factories in Harare and Bulawayo,” he said, noting significant improvements in production following previous maintenance challenges.
