A 29-year-old Zhombe man is battling for his life in hospital after he was attacked with a machete in the late night hours on the 16th of January by a fellow villager.
In a statement, the ZRP Midlands spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said Perfect Kamba was struck all over the body with a machete by one Joseph Kamoto after a misunderstanding.
Machete violence remains a problem in Zhombe, last year traditional leader Chief Gwesela appealed for police intervention.
