Castle Lager Premier Soccer League leaders Manica Diamonds have swept the board for May, claiming both the Coach and Player of the Month accolades following a stellar performance.
Jairos Tapera secured his second consecutive Coach of the Month title, while his prolific striker, Michael Tapera, was honored as Player of the Month for his crucial role in maintaining Manica Diamonds’ position at the top of the league. Michael Tapera’s exceptional form also earned him a call-up to the senior national team preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and South Africa, capping a remarkable period in domestic football.
In May, Manica Diamonds secured four wins and one draw in their five matches, finishing a point ahead of former champions FC Platinum.
