Police have arrested Tafadzwa Kanengoni a suspected dangerous Masvingo armed robber who shot, killed, & robbed a tuckshop owner Michael Munhungowarwa (41).
In an interview Masvingo Police Spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the arrest and indicated that he was apprehended in Zvishavane’s Kandodo Township at his girlfriend’s place.
He highlighted that the suspect tried to flee while in Mucheke but was quickly rearrested.
The suspect shot dead a tuckshop owner, Munhungowarwa (41), with a pistol before stealing unknown amount of cash on the 7th of January at around 2100 hours along Kaguvi Street, Mucheke B, Masvingo.
