Retailers say they are expecting the Ministry of Finance and economic development to address the problem-pricing and the stabilization of the exchange rate in the upcoming mid-term budget review.
Speaking to Great Dyke news, Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers (CZR) president Denford Mutashu said the minister should address various issues including the exchange rate issues which have caused uncertainty.
Meanwhile, Miners with disabilities have called on the government to consider the financial empowerment of people with disabilities through fiscal policy and budgetary support in the Mid-term budget review.
Speaking to Great Dyke News, Moses Marufu called for the allocation of funds for miners with disabilities in the upcoming mid-term budget review so that they can empower themselves and move away from dependency.
Finance and economic development minister Professor Mthuli Ncube is expected to present the 2022 mid-term fiscal policy statement at the end of this month.
