Mine Workers’ Union Speaks On Tackling Sexual Harassement

The Zimbabwe Diamond and Allied Mineral Workers Union, ZIDAMWU says it is lobbying government to adopt legislation that legally protects women and men from sexual harassment in the workplace.

Speaking to Great Dyke News ZIDAMWU Secretary-General Justice Chinhema said the union had submitted a number of cases to the global union, Industry Ore.

He indicated that the union has also received sexual harassment of students in some mine workplaces.
