MINING COMPANY FAILS TO FOOT EMPLOYEE’S HOSPITAL BILL AFTER GAS EXPLOSION

A Hwange South Mining employee is nursing serious gas burn injuries at home after his employer allegedly failed to foot the hospital bill despite that injuries being sustained in a gas explosion accident at work.

In a telephone interview with Great Dyke News 24, Center for Natural Resources Governance founding Director, Farai Maguwu said he is reliably informed that the worker sustained the injuries from gas a gas explosion and was admitted to a hospital, only to be discharged a day after the Chinese owned Coking Coal producer allegedly said it cannot foot the hospital bill.
