Mujaji’s journey began in the late 90s when he qualified to compete at the 1998 Commonwealth Games but unfortunately suffered severe burns after an electrical accident at work. He had his right arm amputated, and was in a coma for two months.

He did recover and resume training; his hardwork saw him qualify to compete at the Sydney 2000 Summer Paralympics where he won gold in the 100 metres sprint. He went on to fly the Zimbabwean flag.
