The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has urged parents to unite in improving the country’s education system as a way of achieving the 2030 goal of becoming an upper-middle-income economy.
Speaking during a Great Dyke News and Current Affairs program BLAST FURNACE on YAFM, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Spokesperson, Taungana Ndoro said parents should consult responsible departments for fee payments for payment plans.
He also urged parents to report if they find any school charging a maximum amount that was not agreed upon by the government.
This comes at a time when parents are raising concerns about struggling to raise funds to cater to their children’s educational needs as the final term of the 2022 school calendar commences.
