The parliamentary portfolio committee on mines and mining development says it is constantly engaging the Zimbabwean power utility ZESA in regards to excessive power outages that are disrupting production in the sector.

The Committee’s Chairperson, Honourable Edmund Mkaratigwa said they have engaged the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Energy concerning the matter.

He also highlighted some of the governments’ efforts in trying to find solutions to the problem.
