The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a case of murder where a 30 year old man was found lying dead near Maguma Business Centre in Chiwundura on 13 April 2022 at 0500 hours.
Speaking to Great Dyke News ZRP Midlands spokesperson Assistant Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the night before at about 2100 hours Hazvinei Gwatipedza was drinking beer at Maguma Business Centre, Chiwundura in the company of a brother.
He indicated that they were approached by one Mannered Gwanzura a man aged 25 years from Village Magwayi, in Chief Gambiza area who asked them about some long back grudges and a misunderstanding arose.
He highlighted that the two brothers escaped in different directions. Hazvinei Gwapedza did not reach home. A search was done and his dead body was found lying in the vicinity of their business centre with stab injuries.
