Poor Safety Standard Blamed For SAS Mine Accident

Employees at Mazowe’s SAS Mine where six foreign nationals and one Zimbabwe lost their lives in a gas explosion say the accident was a result of the mine’s failure to follow safety procedures.

An employee that spoke to the media at the mine, Leon Kuzani said the working environment was unsafe for workers and the mine authorities failed to abide by the recommendations of inspectors that visited the mine
