President Emerson Mnangagwa says he will soon proclaim a day of National Fasting and Pray to give Zimababweans an opportunity to pray for the country’s peace and development.
Speaking in Zvishavane over the weekend the President said he heard Bishop Mutendi’s appeal for such a day and will now work on an appropriate date for all churches in the country to gather at state house in Harare.
The country has elections set for July 30th and has in recent months seen a spike in gun related crime, only last Friday a man gunned down three people in Hwedza and was later arrested yesterday in Mozambique.
