Works to reopen the mine started in 2018 following a US $60 million capital injection by Dallaglio Investments. At its peak, Eureka Gold Mine is expected to produce at least 1.5 tonnes of gold per annum, which will significantly contribute to the mining sector’s target to be a US$12 billion industry by 2023.
