Farmers in different parts of the Great Dyke have been advised to work hand in hand with their respective Agritex Officers for enhanced production.
In an interview with the Great Dyke news, Zvishavane Crop and Livestock Officer, Meredith Shumba said farmers do not have stipulated programmes to follow which is derailing production.
She added that farmers need education on crop rotation, pest and disease control, contour farming, water harvesting, and taking farming as a business.
In a recent interview, the Agritex Officer advised farmers to invest in water harvesting for future uses and also to be able to farm for two seasons.
