Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has cautioned that Israel’s air strikes on Iran last Friday night should “neither be downplayed nor exaggerated.”
In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the operation as “strong, precise, and successful,” stating it came after Iran launched missiles at Israel on October 1.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed the deaths of four soldiers in southern Lebanon, where they have been engaged in ongoing clashes with Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group.
In a related development, Lebanon’s health ministry reported that an Israeli strike in the coastal city of Sidon killed eight people, heightening regional tensions.
