Residents Hailed For Crime Fighting Efforts

Police in the midlands province say the good working relationship between police and the community has seen police make headway in the crime fight with a number of arrests made in recent months.

Speaking to Great Dyke News, ZRP Midlands spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the residents have been coming forward with information that leads to arrests.

He also indicated that the police acting on these tip-offs recently apprehended two notorious gangs of armed robbers who had been committing offences in Gweru and Kwekwe.
