Retailers Speak On Government’s Covid-19 Measures

The Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers (CZR), says it embraces the measures and pledges to limit the number of clients in shops as per the government directive.

In a statement the CZR applauded the government for embarking on targeted lockdowns instead of wholesale lockdowns which have been used in the past indicating that this will also give breathing space for businesses.

The retailers’ body however requested the government to put timelines on when the measures would end for planning purposes.

It also urged the public and business community to do more in fighting Covid-19 as behaviors determine the actions the government applies in order to safeguard the health of the nation.
