School Development Associations welcome government decision not to allow the reopening of schools on July 28.

School Development Associations have welcomed the decision by government not to allow the opening of schools on July 28 as was earlier stated. In an interview SDA”s Chief executive officer Banny Manokore applauded government for parents and teachers message that the environment obtainable is not yet conducive for learning.


Meanwhile, Information , Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa says government will deregister and penalise private schools that have already opened without permission. Zimbabwe has witnessed an increase in COVID 19 locally transmitted cases and number of deaths , as of 14 July the country has recorded 1065 COVID 19 cases and 20 deaths.
