Jonah Nyevera, Member of Parliament for Silobela Constituency, has raised concerns over the poor road network in the area, stating that it is stifling economic growth and development.
Nyevera emphasized that the rehabilitation of the Kwekwe-Silobela-Nkayi Road is critical for unlocking the region’s economic potential.
“Rehabilitating this road will open up new opportunities and significantly improve access to markets, services, and resources for our community,” Nyevera said.
The dilapidated state of the road network has affected transportation, making it difficult for residents and businesses to thrive. Nyevera called on relevant authorities to prioritize the project, citing its importance in fostering local development and enhancing connectivity.
