Small Scale miners in the Great Dyke say the recently introduced 8 hour load shedding by ZESA distribution arm, the ZETDC will grossly affect production.
Speaking to Great Dyke news, Mberengwa Miners Association Chairperson, Anderson Tsikira said without electricity all the production would cease.
He indicated that the use of generators is costly.
ZESA’s distribution arm, the ZETDC over the weekend unveiled a countrywide load shedding schedule which it said has been necessitated by its power generation constraints at Hwange Thermal Powerstation.
