France-based striker Tino Kadewere has been officially ruled out of the Warriors’ upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Cameroon due to injury.

Kadewere, who plays for FC Nantes, sustained the injury towards the end of Les Canaris’ 3-1 victory over Montpellier on Saturday. The striker was substituted by Nicolas Cozza during the match.

In Kadewere’s absence, Manica Diamonds’ Farai Banda has been called up to replace him in the Warriors squad.

Coach Michael Nees’ team is scheduled to hold their first training session in Uganda this morning as they prepare for the crucial qualifiers.
