Worker Representatives Unions say they are not happy with the National Joint Negotiating Council and how it has handled salary negotiations so far. They say it is being used as a consultative forum rather than a collective bargaining process.

The Labour Ministry recently announced that the review of salaries will be a gradual process led by quarterly meetings of the National Joint Negotiating Council.
