Farai Marapira, Director of Information for Zanu PF, has dismissed Nelson Chamisa’s plea for Southern African Development Community (SADC) intervention in Zimbabwe’s political situation.

According to Marapira, Zimbabweans have moved past Chamisa’s concerns and are now focused on national rebuilding and development.

In response to Chamisa’s call for SADC intervention, Marapira argued that it was an attempt to undermine Zimbabwe’s sovereignty and distract from the positive strides the country has made. He reiterated that the nation should handle its internal matters independently and that seeking external help is unnecessary and counterproductive.
