Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Donald Trump of “living in a disinformation space” created by Russia, highlighting a growing rift between the two leaders.
Trump, after talks with Russian representatives in Saudi Arabia—where Ukraine was not included—claimed he was more confident in a Ukraine peace deal. Asked about Kyiv’s exclusion, he stated Ukraine “could have made a deal” earlier.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, however, insisted that “nobody is excluding Ukraine” from the process. The diplomatic shift raises concerns that Kyiv could lose crucial U.S. support as the war enters its third year.
