Zimbabwean-born footballer Matthew Mparaganda has been called up to the Netherlands U17 squad, marking a significant milestone in his burgeoning career. The 17-year-old, who currently plays for Feyenoord Academy, is among the 35 players named in the provisional squad for a training camp.

Mparaganda, who joined Feyenoord Academy in 2018, has rapidly progressed through the ranks and is now part of the Under 19 team. He made his international debut in 2023 with the Netherlands U15 team.

Despite his Dutch allegiance, Mparaganda remains eligible to represent Zimbabwe at the international level, as both of his parents hail from the Southern African nation.
