ZIMPARKS Officer’s Car Torched In Beitbridge

The Zimbabwe parks and wildlife management authority (ZIMPARKS) says one of its officers who was investigating a case of poaching in Beitbridge was physically assaulted and had his car torched.

Zimparks’ spokesperson Tinashe Farawo told Great Dyke News 24 that the officer’s vehicle was sprinkled with petrol and set on fire.

He indicated that the officer sustained injuries and was admitted at Beitbridge Hospital.
