The National Blood Services of Zimbabwe (NBSZ) in the Midlands has assured the public that it has sufficient blood stocks to cater to emergencies during the upcoming Heroes Holiday period. However, the organization urges residents in the Midlands to continue donating blood to ensure stocks remain adequate.

In an interview with Great Dyke News, Aggrey Ngazana, NBSZ Midlands Planning and Recruitment Officer and Blood Donor Coordinator, confirmed that the province currently has enough blood in stock. Ngazana emphasized that ongoing blood drives are essential to maintain these levels even after the holiday period.
