Zimplats and Mimosa have notably advanced agricultural initiatives in Zimbabwe. Zimplats, in collaboration with Remoggo, launched a dairy project aimed at closing the milk deficit with a target of 6,900 cattle and an annual production of 25 million litres of milk. Their investments also include infrastructure development, such as irrigation systems and employee accommodation, and a $500,000 upgrade to Gwebi Agricultural College. Zimplats has also supported local communities by providing dipping facilities and feed.

Meanwhile, Mimosa has contributed to livestock revitalization through breeding programs and artificial insemination, established community gardens, improved water and sanitation with boreholes, and enhanced local educational facilities.
