The ZEC Chairperson emphasized the critical role of electoral reform in enhancing transparency, inclusiveness, and accuracy. Justice Chigumba noted that while reforms are necessary, they must be implemented carefully to avoid confusion and ensure sustainability.

She called on stakeholders to collaborate in proposing reforms that strengthen electoral integrity without causing disruptions to the process. “Electoral reform is key, but it must be done in a way that fosters impartiality and does not confuse voters,” she remarked.
