Two people died, and two others sustained injuries when the Toyota Mark X they were traveling in overturned multiple times and landed on its roof along Bulawayo Road near Bradford turnoff. The tragic accident occurred around 3 AM on January 12, 2025.
The vehicle, carrying three passengers, lost control under unclear circumstances, resulting in the fatal crash. The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed that the victims’ bodies were transported to Parirenyatwa Hospital mortuary for post-mortem, while the injured were admitted to the same hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and have urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads to prevent further loss of life.
