Chief Masunda of Zvishavane has condemned the rampant extortion of members of the public by self-styled prophets and witch hunters popularly known as tsikamutandas saying they are causing hatred among families.
This comes after a number of villagers from Sasula under headman Muzeti complained about the rampant extortion of members of the public by a self-styled prophet who was invited by the traditional leader to settle a leadership wrangle between himself and his brother.
Speaking to Great Dyke News 24, villagers said they are feeling unsafe with their families following a lot of mysterious happenings in the village taking after ritual performances by the tsikamutanda.
